Our achievements
GGPAJ has achieved significant milestones, which include, but are not limited to:
our early advocacy efforts in 2014 that resulted in the modification of the Dangerous Drugs Act, 2005 in 2015 in Jamaica,
partnering with the Jamaica Bureau of Standards and other industry stakeholders to establish Cannabis Standards for Jamaica's medicinal cannabis sector,
our former Programme Director, Paul Burke, planting the first cannabis plant at the University of the West Indies (UWI),
advocating for traditional, small, and indigenous farmers at the UN, which prompted the CLA to establish the ADP Program, and
our advocacy consultations with the CLA in collaboration with other industry stakeholders for the export of Jamaican cannabis, which resulted in the enactment of the Interim Export Regulations.
We continue to push boundaries and drive positive change.

We work closely with government bodies, industry stakeholders, and community members, traditional, small, indigenous farmers to shape policies that support responsible growth and development.
